How It Works

Five simple steps to transform chaotic folders into clean, organized structures — all powered by AI running directly in your browser.

1

Select Your Folder

Click the button above and choose any folder on your computer. The app reads your files directly — nothing is uploaded anywhere.

2

Configure Filters & Strategy

Choose which file types to include and pick how to organize: Smart Categories (the AI recognizes what each file is), by media type, by date, or name your own folders and let the AI sort everything into them.

3

AI Analysis

The AI reads your documents, looks at your images, and listens to your audio and video files — all on your device. The app stays smooth and responsive the whole time.

4

Preview the New Structure

Review a side-by-side diff of your original folder vs. the AI-proposed organization. Drag and drop files to fine-tune before committing.

5

Apply the New Structure

When you're happy with the layout, apply it directly to your computer. Even large folders are handled efficiently. Your original files are never touched unless you explicitly choose to remove them.

Privacy Guarantee

  • All AI processing happens locally in your browser — zero data leaves your machine
  • Network is only used to download AI models on first use (then cached locally)
  • Disconnect your internet after models load — the app works entirely offline

What Gets Downloaded

  • Document Reading: Understands the content of text files, PDFs, and Word/PowerPoint/Excel files (23MB)
  • Image Recognition: Sees and categorizes your photos and graphics (35MB)
  • Audio & Video: Listens to and understands audio and video files (40MB)
  • Total size: ~98MB — downloaded once, saved to your browser forever

Frequently Asked Questions

Is my data uploaded to any server? +
Absolutely not. All processing happens entirely on your device — the AI runs inside your browser, not on any server. Your files never leave your machine. You can verify this yourself: disconnect your internet after setup and the app keeps working perfectly.
Which browsers are supported? +
The full experience (including direct file system writes) requires a Chromium-based browser: Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Opera, or Brave. Firefox and Safari can scan folders via fallback mode but will export results as a ZIP file instead of writing directly to disk.
How much memory does this use? +
The AI tools require approximately 98MB of storage when first downloaded. Your actual files are processed one piece at a time and never fully loaded into memory, so the app handles even very large folders without slowing down your computer.
Will this delete my original files? +
No. The organizer creates a new folder structure and copies files into it. Your original files are left completely untouched. Only if you explicitly choose "Remove originals" after verifying the new structure will the app attempt to clean up.
What file types can the AI understand? +
Text documents (.txt, .md, .csv, .pdf), Word, PowerPoint, and Excel files (.doc, .docx, .pptx, .xlsx), images (.png, .jpg, .webp), audio (.mp3, .wav, .ogg), and video (.mp4, .mov, .mkv). Files the AI cannot process are organized based on their filename and metadata.
Do I need to download the models every time? +
No. Models are downloaded once and cached permanently in your browser's storage. Subsequent visits load instantly from the local cache.
