Privacy Policy

The short version: Every CloudlessKit tool runs entirely inside your browser. When you organize files, redact a PDF, transcribe audio, or search a folder, that file's contents are never uploaded to a server — ours or anyone else's. You can disconnect your internet after a tool finishes loading and it will keep working. This policy covers the rest: what the CloudlessKit website itself collects (analytics, advertising) separately from what our tools do with your files.
1. Your files and documents
CloudlessKit's tools (the File Organizer, PDF Toolkit, Document Chat, PII Redactor, Audio Redactor, and every other tool linked from our homepage) process the files you choose entirely on your own device, using your browser's local computing capabilities. We do not operate a backend that receives, stores, or has access to the content of any file, image, audio clip, or document you open in a CloudlessKit tool. There is no upload step to skip — the code that does the processing runs in your browser and has no network path to send that content to us even if it wanted to.
Any AI models a tool uses (for example, to categorize files or transcribe audio) are downloaded once from a model host and then run locally in your browser; the inputs and outputs of that local processing are never sent back to us.
2. Information we collect about site visits
Separately from what happens inside a tool, the CloudlessKit website collects standard visit information so we can understand how the site is used and keep it running:
- Analytics. We use Google Analytics to see aggregate information such as which pages are visited, how long visits last, referring sites, and general device/browser/location information. This is collected via cookies and similar technologies.
- Advertising. We use Google AdSense to show ads that help keep CloudlessKit free. Google and its advertising partners may use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites, and to measure ad performance. You can see and control the data Google uses for ad personalization at Google Ads Settings, and learn more about how Google uses information from sites that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
- Server logs. Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) automatically logs standard request information (such as IP address, browser type, and request timestamps) for security and reliability purposes, consistent with Cloudflare's privacy policy.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not combine analytics/advertising data with any file content — because file content never reaches us in the first place.
3. Cookies
Cookies set by Google Analytics and Google AdSense are used for the purposes described above. You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings; doing so may reduce ad relevance but will not affect how any CloudlessKit tool processes your files, since that processing doesn't depend on cookies at all.
4. Opting out of personalized advertising
You can opt out of personalized advertising from Google by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalized advertising by visiting aboutads.info.
5. Children's privacy
CloudlessKit is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
6. Third-party links and services
Our site links to third parties (for example, Google's policy pages, or a model host used to download AI models used by a tool). We aren't responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties — please review their own policies.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time as CloudlessKit adds tools or changes how the site operates. We'll update the "Last updated" date above when we do.
